I have professional experience in marketing, sales, community building, and executing events (live and virtual) from showcases to conferences and everything in-between. I've worked with the world's leading independently-owned luxury hotels on marketing campaigns, engineered automated workflows, and brainstormed experiential event elements all in one day while the left and right sides of my brain harmoniously dance the tango. My collection of knowledge has served as an asset to every role I've held. I am passionately curious about a project's entire life cycle and work hard to understand every component to produce the best results.
While my background is vast and deep, I've found a real love of marketing, events, and building community. Uncovering the data behind what drives behavior to open an email, take action within a community, or give an event a glowing review is my jam. I love to get nerdy about emerging technologies and consider myself an early adopter, especially when those tools help get the job done most efficiently.
In my previous life as a full-time blogger and entrepreneur, I learned the importance of great content, SEO, social media marketing, and the hustle to get something off the ground. I built a community of food bloggers and produced an event to locally fill the lack of education and networking opportunities. I can't turn off my need to create, so when I'm not pouring it into my profession, I'm getting bloggy with it just for fun at ladyandthetechie.com.
My greatest life achievement was giving birth to my daughter last year. I've learned more from motherhood than anything else!
